18 holes (Cynthia Dye) The West Cliffs Golf Course at Praia D´el Rey is an 18-hole seaside links golf course on Portugal’s Silver Golf Coast, a little over an hour drive from Lisbon. Designed by the niece of famed course architect Pete Dye, the golf course has already achieved world-wide acclaim. It was elected the “World’s Best New Course” in 2017. The nature around The West Cliffs Golf Course is abundant and from every hole there will be stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean.
The 19th-century Romanticist architecture, historic estates and villas, gardens, and royal palaces and castles of Sintra make classify the town as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The medieval city of Obidos , a national monument is known as the "Wedding Present Town" because it was a gift from King Dinis to Queen Isabel on their wedding day in 1282. Today, visitors can walk within the walls of the well-preserved medieval architecture and along the streets, and squares, and inside its castle encircled by a fortified wall.
